I’m Sophie Marie Bennett – founder of Black Owned Birmingham CIC, The SHEO Chamber and a whole empire of community-driven, content-powered brands. I’m currently looking for TWO passionate, self-motivated individuals to join me on a part-time volunteer-style internship basis:
1. Volunteer Videographer Intern
Flexible Location (Birmingham-based preferred for content days)
Part-time / Flexible Hours (Around 10 hours a week max)
Love content creation, filming and editing? Want to see your work featured across social media with thousands of eyes on it? I’m looking for someone creative and reliable to help shoot and edit behind-the-scenes footage, branded videos, interviews, and events.
What you’ll be doing:
- Filming BTS and short-form content for platforms like TikTok and Instagram
- Editing videos using tools like CapCut, InShot or Adobe Premiere Pro
- Attending selected events/pop-ups for live content capture
- Collaborating on fun, fresh content ideas
What you’ll gain:

2. Volunteer Admin Assistant Intern
Remote (UK-based preferred)
Part-time / Flexible Hours
Are you super organised, detail-focused and love helping things run smoothly behind the scenes? This role is for someone who’s excited to support a busy founder juggling multiple projects (with a bit of organised chaos 😅).
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing email inboxes and social media DMs
- Helping schedule content and track engagement
- Doing light research and outreach tasks
- Organising files and supporting with admin tasks across multiple businesses
What you’ll gain:
- Hands-on experience with admin, content planning and brand management
